Hi girls!

Meet super cute Freddie, my new little baby! I know – a BOY! Yikes – what do I do with one of those?! But seriously… Holly loves being a big sis and we all think little F is totally fabulicious!

I’ve got some more really exciting news – about a whole new series for all you Totally Lucy fans – YIPPEEEEEEE! I’m desp to spill the beans about it but I’ll wait a couple of weeks till contracts are signed, then give you the lowdown, so check back for more info soon.

Hi girls!

I hope you all had  a fab Christmas hols with loads of pressies and cool parties and not too much embarrassing mum and dad behaviour going on! How cool that now it’s the start of a brand new year! I wonder if you’ve made any resolutions? If not, maybe you could make one to come along and post your cringes on ‘Join our girly chat’ (I’ve just changed the topic to crush cringes, and spilled the beans about MY most embarrassing crush moment, so I can’t wait to read your stories!). Or how about getting creative and writing/drawing something for the gallery on the Over to You page?  Go on, you know you want to – I just know you’re such a talented bunch of girls – and funny too – you make me laugh so much with your brilliant posts! Everything is cool here in Kelly world – we’re just busy working on the editing, design and artwork for the final two Pony Camp books) which will be out this year (I know, another series is ending, boo hoo!), but also excitingly I am developing NEW series ideas, which I’ll let you know more about as soon as I can! Thanks to you all for being such fab fans and especially for spreading the word about my books to your BFF, librarians and teachers. I know loads of you do this and I think you’re completely fab and the best fans anyone in the world could have, so I feel very VERY lucky! Loads of love, and have a great start to 2011! MWAH! Kellyx

Hi girls! Well, who’s got loads of snow, then? Probably not all you Aussie girls who visit this site – think of us over here in the UK with our blue toes while you’re having a barbie on the beach! Meanwhile, everyone who is here in the chill zone, enjoy the snowy weather and make sure you
get some sledging and snowballing in before it melts (could be just the way to get that cute guy to notice you, but just make sure you’re not sledging embarrassingly straight into a tree while waving at him (as I once did but that’s another story!).
Congrats to all the competition winners – SO fab to hear how much you liked the posters and books! Bit of Lucy World news – Fab multi-talented producer Austen and his crew have started making the new iPhone app of Totally Lucy so I’ll let you know as soon as we have any cool stuff to show you on that! there is also even more exciting new stuff about a new book series which I promise I will tell you about absolutely the SECOND I’m allowed to!

At the mo, I’m writing the final (I know, sob sob!) Pony Camp book, no. 12, called Daisy and Dancer, and reading-wise I’m about to start Cherry Crush (LOVED Angel Cake, Cathy!) – really excited about that, and especially because I got to catch up with Cathy when I went to a talk of hers recently too!
Right, gotta go for now – am off to collect Holly from nursery and stock up on Curly Wurlys in case the snow causes a national shortage.

Back to school already, huh? Where did the summer go? I hope you’re all having a fab time with your BFF at breaks and lunch, settling in with your new teachers and finding some cool clubs and activities… and maybe even starting your own secret Style School in the loos?! (If so, watch out for Mr Cain-alikes!!) Extra big hugs to those who’ve started a new school this year – good luck and have fun!

Talking of Half a Sister, I’m so excited that the book has had some great reviews too – find them on the Half a Sister page. You’ll also find the book featured in this month’s Mizz mag!

At the mo I’m writing the next Pony Camp book, Amy and Amber, and having loads of fun with it! I finished reading Withering Tights by Louise Rennison (LOVED that!) and I’m about to start Angel Cake by Cathy Cassidy (who has just won the Queen of Teen award – congratulations, Cathy!). I’m also planning a trip to the big Topshop and H&M on Oxford Street this week to find a few new autumn looks, then on to hear Cathy speak at a publishing event – what a week made in heaven!
