Vici Leyhane
Vici studied graphic design and illustration at Bath Spa University College and graduated in 2001.
Vici says
"Ever since I was little I wanted to be an illustrator so it is a complete dream come true! And just like Lucy I totally love fashion, especially buying shoes - I have a lot of shoes. I also love going for coffee with my BFF. My most fave book to illustrate is the new 'StyleSchool' as there is so much fashion in it, totally cool!"
Cecilia Johansson
Cecilia studied illustration at Nottingham Trent University from 1996-99. She has worked as a children's book illustrator ever since.
Cecilia says:
"Working with Spirulina was fun! There are so many illustrations in each book and I had to draw the characters over and over again, so it's almost like I know them. I enjoy the process of creating new characters for the story I'm illustrating. When I draw or paint I always feel happy! I also enjoy being outdoors. I take my dog for a walk, jog and go in-line skating. Often the best ideas for an illustration project come when I'm exercising - then it's just a matter of remembering them until I get home!"
